Director, Nursing Clinical Operations

The Director of Clinical Operations provides operational leadership and oversight of key clinical and patient-flow functions to support safe, efficient, high-quality care across the organization. Serving as the operational partner to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director is accountable for daily hospital operations, staffing effectiveness, patient throughput, capacity management, and coordination of clinical services across multiple departments and campuses. The role works collaboratively with physicians, nursing leadership, ancillary departments, and executive leadership to advance organizational goals for quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement, and operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintained.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintained.
- Demonstrated success in throughput, staffing, quality, and operational improvement initiatives.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least three years of inpatient clinical and operational leadership preferred.
Responsibilities
