Responsibilities
Requirements
- Highly innovative and enjoys working in a dynamic and creative environment
- Experience in new product development, including concept, business case development, industrial design, detailed design, EVT, DVT, PVT, ramp, and delivery
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team
- Design, develop, and refine volume manufacturing processes and qualification plans
- Drive production ramp readiness with cross-functional engineering teams
- Lead root cause activity/problem solving for electrical and opto-mechanical components/devices
- Actively seek ways to improve current methods, systems, processes, and structures
- Assist in developing and improving NPI/Engineering Project Management processes
- Provide leadership to all project resources and delegate tasks as required
- Work closely with Engineering, sourcing, planning, Quality, and suppliers to achieve project goals, cost, timing, and quality
- Ensure timely release of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Coordinate between multiple functions to ensure product introduction schedule and timing meets company goals

- 15+ years of industry experience preferred
- Experience with Cadence or other schematics/layout tools
- Knowledge of factory test methods for mass production
- Experience with production ramp of high volume products
- Versed in 6 sigma and skilled in data analysis and process qualification
- Broad understanding of product commercialization, sourcing, quality, delivery, and cost management
- Experience in working within a regulatory environment
- High level negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams globally
- BS in Electrical Engineering or MS in Electrical Engineering required
