This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for a leader who can build new capabilities, create scalable processes, and develop strong external partnerships in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in service provider network development, vendor or contractor management, facilities management, field services, procurement, or a related industry preferred.
  • 3+ years of direct people leadership experience required with a demonstrated ability to coach teams, establish accountability, and deliver results through others.
  • Proven experience building or scaling a multi-market, multi-trade service provider network, ideally within facilities maintenance, repair and maintenance, construction services, or a national field-service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of partner sourcing, due diligence, onboarding, licensing, insurance, compliance, contracting, and performance management practices.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to balance coverage, cost, quality, capacity, and service expectations.
  • Strong analytical and business-planning skills, including the ability to translate demand data into network strategy, priorities, and measurable actions.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-management, conflict-resolution, and influencing skills across Field Partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build structure in a new division, manage competing priorities, and operate with urgency, sound judgment, and a bias for action.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn vendor management, work-order, CRM, reporting, and other business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national Field Partner network strategy for Facility Maintenance, aligned with customer demand, growth priorities, service-level expectations, and launch timelines.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four to five Compliance Specialists; establish clear goals, performance standards, workload priorities, and consistent operating processes.
  • Analyze geographic, trade, capacity, and service coverage needs to identify network gaps, prioritize recruiting activity, and maintain market readiness.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified Field Partners across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general maintenance, and other facilities trades through targeted sourcing, referrals, industry relationships, and market outreach.
  • Establish and oversee standardized partner vetting, qualification, onboarding, and activation processes, including licensing, insurance, certifications, safety, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate competitive rates, service terms, and partnership expectations in collaboration with Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders while balancing cost, quality, and coverage needs.
  • Create a strong Field Partner engagement and retention model that promotes responsiveness, accountability, ethical treatment, and long-term partnership with Stratus.
  • Partner closely with Facility Maintenance Operations, Territory Managers, Sales, Client Services, and implementation teams to ensure the network is prepared to support new customers, markets, and service programs.
  • Establish dashboards and operating metrics for coverage, recruiting pipeline, onboarding cycle time, compliance, utilization, capacity, cost competitiveness, and network health.
  • Lead resolution of escalated partner issues, recurring service gaps, and high-risk compliance matters; implement corrective action, contingency, or replacement plans when needed.
