About The Position

The Director, National Accounts and Client Development serves as a strategic relationship partner supporting payer relationships, healthcare clients, referral partnerships, and operational growth initiatives. This role is responsible for strengthening enterprise relationships, driving customer satisfaction and retention, supporting strategic growth opportunities, and enhancing overall client experience. This position works closely with executive leadership, clinical operations, analytics, and operational teams to support implementation efforts, service delivery optimization, and long-term partnership success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fully remote environment while balancing customer success, strategic relationship management, operational collaboration, and business growth initiatives. The Director, National Accounts and Client Development plays a critical role in supporting organizational expansion, client engagement, and healthcare innovation initiatives aligned with PonosCare’s mission to transform virtual chronic pain care delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, customer success, enterprise relationship management, business development, or strategic partnerships
  • Experience working within healthcare, SaaS, technology, consulting, or service-based industries preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic client relationships and driving retention and growth
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a fully remote environment
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience supporting cross-functional collaboration and operational initiatives preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and strengthen enterprise clients and strategic healthcare relationships.
  • Drive client engagement, satisfaction, retention, and operational partnership initiatives.
  • Support onboarding and implementation of new programs, partnerships, and services.
  • Collaborate with clinical, analytics, operational, and executive teams to create presentation decks for new client development in new eastern regions.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic growth, partnership expansion, and market engagement.
  • Lead virtual meetings, presentations, and relationship management activities with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain proactive, professional, and solution-oriented communication across all levels of the organization.
