About The Position

Blue Sky Utility/ Nofar USA, a renewable energy development and operations company focused on large-scale solar and energy storage, is seeking a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. This is a high-visibility, hybrid role based out of our Fort Lauderdale office, on a lean, fast-moving team. The Director of M&A will lead the sourcing, evaluation, structuring, and execution of renewable energy, battery storage and or thermal energy acquisitions across the U.S. You'll work closely with Development, Finance, and Legal to underwrite deals, build and review financial models, and drive transactions from origination, initial diligence through to closing.

Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of renewable energy transaction structures — PPAs, interconnection, tax equity, ITC/PTC, and project-level debt.

  • Direct experience in deal negotiations and interfacing with counterparties, lenders, and advisors.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting investment committee or board-level materials.
