About The Position

The Director Membership Experience is responsible for developing branch programs, training, initiatives, and policies designed to increase membership. This role involves developing, implementing, and executing strategic plans to meet sales, revenue, and membership mix targets, as well as budget management. The Director will create, update, and distribute information, and communicate effectively with staff, the community, and current and prospective members. They will also create and communicate membership team sales and retention goals, report progress to leadership, cross-sell other Y programs, and develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet branch goals.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Five (5) years related customer service/sales experience with a knowledge of general operations.
Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
Demonstrated marketing and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Multi-Lingual
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in sales, marketing, public relations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Attend and actively participate in all training as assigned.
Develop branch programs, training, initiatives, and policies designed to increase membership.
