About The Position

Centene is seeking a Director, Medicare Regulatory Change Management to develop and implement strategies for maintaining and implementing regulatory requirements for assigned products across the company. This role involves leading the maintenance and tracking of laws, regulations, and compliance guidance documents, providing regular updates and analysis on impactful regulatory actions, and communicating key regulatory changes to stakeholders. The position requires collaboration with various departments to assess regulations, evaluate changes in service functions, and provide guidance on compliance issues and the implementation of new requirements. The role also includes mentoring subordinates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of combined compliance program management and contract experience with Medicare and Medicaid programs, including internal and state audits.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare regulatory agencies in the development of compliance and fraud programs preferred.
  • Experience with oversight of implementation of federal and state insurance or program requirement preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful maintenance and implementation of regulatory requirements for assigned products across the entire company.
  • Lead for maintenance and tracking laws, regulations and various compliance guidance documents, and preparing regular updates and analysis on impactful regulatory actions.
  • Communicate key regulatory changes, trends, data to key stakeholders and leaders throughout the Company.
  • Work in collaboration with Product Compliance Partners, Policy, Government Relations, Legal and other key departments to assess and analyze impactful regulations and guidance.
  • Evaluate and monitor changes to service functions and performance in relation to company mission, philosophy objectives and policies.
  • Provide guidance to various departments regarding compliance issues and implementation of new compliance requirements with respect to regulatory and contract language.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates within the department as necessary.
