About The Position

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is the nation’s premier youth development organization, serving nearly 4 million young people each year. This position is on-site, office-based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid model (3 days remote / 2 days in office - Tuesday & Wednesday). Under the direct supervision of the National Director, Measurement & Insights, and in collaboration with the broader team, the Director, Measurement & Insights is responsible for the development, management, and continuous improvement of BGCA's enterprise-wide data collection efforts. This includes the National Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI) Member and Staff Surveys, Annual Report Survey (ARS), and Club Partnership & Planning Surveys. The Director also supports quantitative and qualitative analytics, using findings to generate meaningful recommendations, reports, and presentations. Working cross-functionally and directly with local Clubs, the Director strengthens measurement practices, ensures enterprise data consistency and quality, and supports a culture where data informs strategy at every level of the organization. By leading enterprise-wide measurement and data collection efforts, the Director, Measurement & Insights helps ensure the organization has accurate, consistent, and meaningful data to evaluate impact, guide strategy, and support continuous improvement. Through collaboration with local Clubs and cross-functional teams, this role helps foster a culture where data and insights drive innovation, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (e.g., Public Policy, Education, Youth Development, Social Sciences or Human Services).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 4 years of project management involving the measurement of education and program outcomes.
  • Specific experience analyzing and reporting data is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Proven track record of strong time management and self-motivation to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data for non-technical audiences.
  • Operates comfortably under broad direction, identifies opportunities and drives solutions proactively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, own complex projects, and successfully coordinate cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related area is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and advanced analytics approaches highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency, reliability, and alignment across all national data collection instruments and processes.
  • Integrate new and updated measures into enterprise data collections, ensuring clear guidance and usability for Clubs.
  • Continuously improve data collection approaches to reduce administrative burden while maintaining data quality and completeness.
  • Effectively incorporate new measures into existing data collection tools, documentation, and training materials.
  • Align measurement practices with organizational reporting needs to enable consistent and scalable use of data.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure measurement systems support both strategic priorities and operational realities.
  • Produce and maintain repeatable, high-quality reporting outputs derived from enterprise data collections.
  • Deliver official, trusted metrics used to assess performance against organizational goals.
  • Ensure reporting frameworks are clear, consistent, and accessible to a range of audiences, from Club staff to national leadership.
  • Oversee analysis of national and local data sources to identify key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations that inform leadership decisions and drive organizational insights.
  • Develop tools and resources that empower BGCA staff and Club professionals to effectively collect, interpret, and leverage data.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional and cross-departmental project teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the National Director, Measurement & Insights.
