Director, Master Data Operations & Stewardship
About The Position
At Aristocrat, the Director, Master Data Operations & Stewardship leads a new six-role group within Digital Operations. The role transforms enterprise data governance into trusted master data and measurable business results, ensuring data quality and stewardship while coordinating with global teams. The Director leads operations across Customer Master, Product Master, data quality, remediation, and PTR operations. They establish the operating model and coordinate operational responsibilities with the Chief Data Office, Group IT, and business functions. The position also delivers defined data-quality and operational targets, supports Customer 360 and the canonical product model, reports progress and value to leadership and stakeholders, and prepares customer and product data domains for AI-enabled workflows. The role includes hiring, developing, and leading team members across Las Vegas and India, including transitioning the Global PTR role. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, data management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in master data management, data governance, or data operations, including at least 3 years leading teams.
- Hands-on experience leading customer and/or product master data in CRM and ERP environments.
- Experience building data-quality scorecards, stewardship processes, and remediation programs with measurable results.
- Solid understanding of data platforms and MDM tooling.
- Experience leading or coordinating offshore or globally distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder leadership skills and the ability to translate data issues into business impact.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud, Informatica, or similar MDM tooling.
- DAMA CDMP or similar data-management certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Master Data Operations & Stewardship team, setting priorities, goals, and accountability across Customer Master, Product Master, data quality, remediation, and PTR operations.
- Design and operate stewardship workflows, issue intake and prioritization, escalation paths, and service levels.
- Establish clear operating boundaries with the Chief Data Office, Group IT, and business functions.
- Deliver year-one targets for strategic customer hierarchy coverage, duplicate-customer reduction, Product Master completeness, aged critical issues, manual reconciliation effort, and PTR Health.
- Deliver Customer 360 proof points and the canonical product model in partnership with business and technology teams.
- Report data-quality scorecards, progress, and value realization to Digital Operations leadership and business stakeholders.
- Prepare governed customer and product data domains to support AI-enabled workflows.
- Hire, develop, and lead team members across Las Vegas and India, including transition of the Global PTR role.
