About The Position

The Marketing M&A team drives the integration of Cisco’s acquisitions to ensure a unified brand and maximize joint-marketing synergies. This team collaborates across Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, IT, and other functions to deliver seamless integration experiences. Joining this team means working in a dynamic environment focused on innovation, strategic growth, and cross-functional partnership. As the Marketing M&A Functional Leader, you will lead the strategy and execution of marketing integrations for Cisco’s acquisitions. You will oversee the entire integration lifecycle—from due diligence through to deal closure—ensuring alignment with Cisco’s brand and growth objectives. Your leadership will drive process optimization, risk mitigation, and cultural integration, while managing key performance indicators and executive reporting. Success in this role means delivering scalable, repeatable integration processes that protect deal value and accelerate business momentum.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing roles, including significant exposure to mergers and acquisitions or integration management.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to translate business outcomes into actionable integration strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing executive leadership and building strategic relationships.
  • Deep expertise in demand generation, brand architecture, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategies.
