About The Position

Telix Pharmaceuticals is a dynamic, fast-growing radiopharmaceutical company with offices in Australia (HQ), Belgium, Japan, Switzerland, and the United States. Their mission is to deliver on the promise of precision medicine through targeted radiation, creating products to improve the quality of life for people living with cancer and rare diseases. The successful candidate will support the international roll-out of an approved prostate cancer imaging agent and help advance a portfolio of late clinical-stage products addressing unmet needs in oncology and rare diseases. The Director, Marketing Strategy is a senior commercial leader responsible for defining and driving the strategic marketing vision for RLS. This role leads the development of integrated, data-driven marketing strategies to accelerate revenue growth, strengthen brand positioning, and enhance competitive differentiation across the portfolio. The Director partners closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Corporate Communications to shape go-to-market strategy, optimize resource allocation, and ensure executional excellence. This role operates at both a strategic and operational level, owning segmentation, positioning, portfolio prioritization, and performance optimization, while serving as a key advisor to executive leadership. The Director will build scalable marketing frameworks, elevate commercial rigor, and ensure alignment between upstream strategy and downstream execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required.
  • 10–12+ years of progressive marketing experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Experience owning portfolio strategy, segmentation, and go-to-market planning.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the overarching marketing strategy aligned to revenue targets and long-term growth objectives.
  • Shape portfolio positioning, segmentation strategy, and value propositions across customer segments.
  • Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps that integrate upstream and downstream marketing priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable, measurable commercial plans.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product introductions, line extensions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish clear customer segmentation frameworks and targeting strategies.
  • Align messaging architecture and campaign strategy across channels and stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning across all customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee market landscape analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and growth levers.
  • Develop strategic counter-positioning plans against competitors.
  • Provide executive-level insights that inform pricing, investment, and portfolio prioritization decisions.
  • Own marketing performance measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and ROI analysis.
  • Optimize marketing spend allocation based on data-driven performance insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement across marketing effectiveness and commercial impact.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure strategic alignment with budget planning and revenue forecasts.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing ensure upstream development priorities align with market needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to translate strategy into field execution plans.
  • Work with Communications to ensure integrated campaign deployment.
  • Align with Operations and Supply Chain on demand forecasting implications.
  • Develop executive presentations and strategic planning materials.
  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership on commercial priorities and investment decisions.
  • Represent Marketing Strategy in leadership forums and planning cycles.
  • Lead and develop a marketing manager to support RLS activities and execution.
  • Build capabilities in analytics, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and executional rigor.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulatory, legal, and brand standards.
