About The Position

Neo is significantly increasing its marketing spend and requires a Director, Marketing Analytics to build the analytical infrastructure to ensure this investment is effective. Currently, attribution is fragmented, channel performance is difficult to compare, and insights are scattered. This role will consolidate these insights to drive budget allocation decisions. It is a hands-on role focused on using data to shape business strategy and inform how tens of millions of dollars are spent and where Neo grows fastest.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in marketing analytics or growth analytics with hands-on data work.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • B2C or consumer tech background.
  • Demonstrated track record of analytics work that drove measurable business decisions, not just reporting.
  • Based in Canada.
  • Ability to work in-person.

  • Experience in financial services marketing measurement for Canadian consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and establish the marketing analytics function at Neo.
  • Set the analytical direction for the marketing organization's measurement, budget allocation, and strategic decisions.
  • Translate analytical work into clear, direct business language for stakeholders, including the CMO and marketing leads.
  • Identify and ask critical questions of the data to uncover insights that drive business actions.
  • Ensure marketing investments are effective and measurable.
