Homeward is a fast-paced, remote-first real estate startup that partners with real estate agents to offer innovative products and services, helping clients buy with cash, sell with certainty, and time their move, regardless of the market. The Director of Market Sales is a leadership role responsible for the end-to-end performance of Homeward’s Market Sales function. This role provides strategic sales and operational leadership across the property dispositions lifecycle, ensuring inventory is priced, marketed, negotiated, and sold efficiently while protecting margin and delivering an excellent customer experience. The core mission of this role is to drive the sell-through of Homeward’s inventory. This leader will oversee two Team Leads who manage the frontline Market Sales team. The Director will set direction, coach and develop leaders, drive operational alignment across cross-functional partners, manage key disposition and external partnerships, and serve as the primary escalation point for complex or high-impact issues. They will continuously iterate and improve on existing processes and communication workflows to ensure we are selling homes efficiently and profitably, delivering a superior customer experience and maximizing second check proceeds for our customers.
