Alcon is looking to hire a Director, Manufacturing and Operations Management leader is primarily responsible for leading and coordinating teams and processes across multiple manufacturing areas within a single plant to ensure efficient production operations and resource management. You will be expected to build effective and meaningful relationships to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role is on-site in our Fort Worth, Texas location and a typical day would include: Manage and coordinate teams and processes across multiple manufacturing areas, including Production Engineering, Manufacturing Process Development, Production Operations, Production Planning/Control, and Manufacturing Materials Supply. Ensure alignment with business objectives and drive operational excellence by maintaining a well-trained, optimized labor workforce Oversee efficient production operations and implement continuous improvement initiatives Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing associate engagement, recognizing achievements, and driving a strong safety culture. Ensure all associates adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Lead strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and effective communication to achieve operational efficiency and contribute to the company's success.
