About The Position

The Director Managed Care is responsible for negotiating and managing all Managed Care contracts for St. Joseph's Healthcare System. The role coordinates with General Counsel on legal issues and approval of Managed Care Agreements. It also communicates with department heads, including the Directors of Patient Financial Services and Care Management, to ensure coordination and support of system-wide financial and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field.
• Five to seven years of healthcare experience, specifically in Managed Care Services and/or Operations.
• Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in analyses, and summarize information and data to solve problems.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
