About The Position

Axiom is seeking a solutions-focused Director-level attorney to join their team. This role reports to the General Counsel and is responsible for negotiating agreements with customers, developing customer-centric solutions that ensure legal compliance and satisfy customer needs, and supporting business operations by providing counsel on compliance with laws and regulations. The role also requires staying updated on legal developments and external trends. Axiom connects growing mid-market and Fortune 500 companies with experienced legal talent, offering an alternative to high law firm fees or unnecessary full-time hires.

Requirements

Juris Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from an ABA accredited law school
Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one State
15+ years’ experience
10+ years prior in-house counsel experience required
Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the in-house counsel bar.
Experience negotiating and drafting service agreements, license agreements, subcontracts, marketing agreements, real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements and consulting agreements
Experience supporting operations outside of the United States
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships and work with cross-functional teams.
Detail-orientation and ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.
Ability to deliver in a demanding and entrepreneurial environment in a timely manner.
