About The Position

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Medical Director, the Director of Lab/Pathology Services assumes responsibility for implementation of the medical center’s mission, goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science.
• Must have a minimum of five years’ management experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Director assumes responsibility for implementing and maintaining all department policies and procedures as mandated by The Joint Commission and other regulating agencies.
