About The Position

The IT Procurement Director partners closely with Global Technology, Digital Services, Cyber Security, Finance, Legal, and operating-unit leaders to enable Coca‑Cola’s digital and technology transformation agenda while ensuring governance, compliance, and measurable strategic value. We are looking for a proactive leader who is comfortable operating in a matrix, builds strong internal and supplier relationships, leads with integrity and inclusion, brings excellent negotiation skills, and delivers results through disciplined execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles, with deep exposure to IT services and software categories.
  • Proven experience leading complex global negotiations and managing large‑scale supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable cost optimization and value‑creation outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of technology markets, vendor ecosystems, and commercial models.
  • Experience operating in a large, matrixed, global organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skills, able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Exceptional executive‑level communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex commercial and technical topics for senior business leaders.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities with senior leaders.
  • Ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity, exercising sound judgment and prioritization.
  • Strong commercial judgment, risk awareness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Own Global IT Sub-Category Strategy: Develop and execute sub-category strategies for digital technology services. This could include sub-categories such as IT professional services, cloud, infrastructure, application services and enterprise software.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFPs, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract execution.
  • Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, cost avoidance, and working‑capital improvements across the technology portfolio.
  • Lead Strategic Supplier Relationships: Build long‑term, trust‑based partnerships with strategic technology and software suppliers; position Coca‑Cola as a customer of choice through transparency and mutual respect.
  • Co-create roadmaps with suppliers to drive transformation, innovation, and outcome‑based delivery models.
  • Align internal stakeholders and suppliers through change; manage risk and ensure continuity while maintaining flexible relationships.
  • Enable Technology & Digital Transformation: Partner with Technology leaders to support modernization initiatives across customer & commercial, cloud infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, data & analytics, and enterprise platforms.
  • Provide commercial leadership for large‑scale technology programs, transformations, and renewals.
  • Translate technology roadmaps into aligned sourcing strategies with key business leaders.
  • Drive Commercial Excellence & Governance: Negotiate and manage complex, multi‑year global contracts aligned with corporate mandates, compliance standards, and risk controls.
  • Establish and maintain governance routines (e.g., QBRs, KPIs/SLAs) to manage performance, risk, and compliance across supplier relationships.
  • Lead financial modeling, benchmarking, and business case development to inform executive decision‑making.
  • Stakeholder Leadership & Influence: Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Legal, Enterprise Services, and Operating Units.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing commercial insights and recommendations to support technology and investment decisions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through data‑driven insights, clear communication, and sound commercial judgment.
  • Advise on sourcing strategy, market trends, supplier innovation opportunities, and emerging technology considerations.
