Overall Purpose The Director, Issuer and Networks Product is the leader responsible for the development and management of a group of products aligned with a customer segment and/or product solution. The role will build, align, and motivate a cross functional team to develop a common understanding of the customer’s pain points and the passion to solve issues and develop innovative solutions that delight customers. The Network and Issuer Product Management function is responsible for designing, building, and scaling issuer- and network-facing capabilities that enable best-in-class wallet performance. This role requires deep expertise in tokenization and payment authorization to ensure the platform is easy to integrate with, fast to onboard, and optimized for transaction success. The leader will define and represent the network and issuer strategy, including engagement with senior executive stakeholders. This function owns core platform capabilities, including issuer and network onboarding, token gateway development, and transaction processing and authorization. It is responsible for delivering seamless integration experiences for issuers, resellers, and card networks, while evolving tokenization capabilities and ensuring readiness for new network requirements. The team also manages the interfaces with both card networks and issuing banks, supporting token lifecycle management, wallet provisioning, and a strong developer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
  • Typically 12+ years of experience in product management, data management or related consulting with a proven record of high performance, preferably with experience building data and analytics products
  • 7+ years of demonstrated product ownership or team leadership
  • Experience working with data teams (data engineers, data scientists, software developers, data analysts, etc.), business stakeholders and end-users
  • Demonstrated experience in design thinking and agile development process and methodology
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and cross functional collaboration experience
  • Proven experience in and passion for building and delivering great products
  • Experience in recruiting and developing direct talent
  • Demonstrated experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap and in meeting product revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated experience driving alignment at the executive and client leadership level
  • Excellent listening and execution skills
  • Background and drug screen
  • Deep expertise in tokenization and payment authorization
