About The Position

AMC Global Media is home to many of the greatest stories and characters in TV and film and the premier destination for passionate and engaged fan communities around the world. We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Director, Integrated Marketing to join our Brand & Integrated Marketing Strategy team based either in our New York, NY office

Requirements

  • 7-10 years integrated marketing experience at a media company, agency, or brand with an emphasis on custom marketing solutions for Ad Sales with experience in streaming
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling and communication skills with a keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives for client pitches
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, strategic, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint, strong Microsoft Office skills, and experience with Airtable
  • Outstanding project management skills including organization, planning, multi-tasking and time management
  • Strong communicator, comfortable with presenting in front of groups and/or clients
  • Self-starter who can work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt, be flexible, and solution-oriented in an environment of constant change.
  • Strong internal communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in related fields, such as Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic development of high-impact sales narratives, sponsorship packages, and custom solutions, both proactive and RFP-driven, to grow revenue across linear, steaming, social, and on-ground events.
  • Serve as a strategic marketing partner to Sales Leadership, and designated Directors/ Account Executives, leading the development of clear, compelling, and insight-driven client pitches that address agency and advertiser objectives.
  • Represent AMC Global Media in client and agency pitch meetings, articulating the creative vision, strategic value, and executional approach for custom partnerships and integrated opportunities.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage key external partnerships to unlock new, scalable revenue opportunities and innovative platform extensions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Programming, Creative, Production, Streaming/FAST, Social, and Research teams to translate insights and audience intelligence into differentiated sponsorships and go-to-market solutions.
  • Oversee the execution, fulfillment, and optimization of sold client marketing programs across all platforms and networks, ensuring excellence from ideation through delivery while mentoring marketing managers and providing senior guidance on production shoots as required.
  • Represent integrated marketing on cross-functional internal task forces, partnering with stakeholders to identify, develop, and articulate high-impact pitches and opportunities for brand partners.
  • Own the development and quality of all AMC Global Media Sales Marketing materials—including pitch decks, proactive sponsorship proposals, one-sheets, case studies, client recaps, and Content Room assets—ensuring best-in-class storytelling and consistency from marketing managers and coordinators.
  • Act as a senior editorial and brand steward, ensuring all ideas, pitches, and executions align with AMC Global Media’s brand voice, standards, and strategic positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, emerging platforms, and evolving ad products, translating marketplace trends into actionable insights that inform sales strategy and client conversations.
  • Lead internal education efforts by regularly presenting new concepts, capabilities, and success stories at Sales meetings and All Hands to drive alignment and inspiration.
  • Manage and develop marketing managers and coordinators, providing mentorship, oversight, and growth opportunities while ensuring operational excellence across the team.
