This role defines and leads the analytics strategy for Insurance, aligned with enterprise priorities. The Director provides leadership across analytics functions, ensuring alignment to business priorities and long-term strategic objectives. They lead prioritization and resource allocation across initiatives based on business value and impact, and coach and develop the team to future-proof their skills with a focus on scalability and organizational effectiveness. This position provides strategic direction for advanced deliverables, including complex business question resolution and directing analytic efforts that significantly impact key strategic imperatives. The Director develops and implements processes, procedures, and standards to optimize resource efficiency, and oversees the delivery of analytics, including data extraction, building, refining, and translating insights into strategy. They are responsible for data integrity and establishing standards for consistent, high-quality data and queries. This role leads the development of executive-level insights and presentations to influence stakeholders and drive strategic business decisions, ensuring standardization of Insurance Analytics. The Director proactively identifies additional learnings needed to deliver comprehensive insights and leads the development of annual and multi-year analytics roadmaps in partnership with Executive Leadership. They drive and influence the implementation of data and analytics capability evolution, and are accountable for measurable business outcomes such as revenue growth and ROI of analytics investments. The Director serves as an organizational thought leader, educating others on data usage for strategy and decision-making, and establishes governance, standards, and best practices across the analytics ecosystem. They stay informed of new analytics techniques and methodologies, drive enterprise adoption of insurance analytics products and tools, and champion data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a strategic partner to Officers and Executive Leadership, they shape business strategy and investment priorities, identify analytical needs, and provide thought leadership for analytical solutions. The Director partners with HR/L&D, IT, and other stakeholders to develop a long-term vision for LMS technology and data management strategies. They lead cross-functional analytics initiatives and may participate in conferences to share or gather best practices. Other duties as assigned.
