About The Position

God's Love We Deliver is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven fundraising leader to grow and strengthen our institutional philanthropy program. Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy, the Director of Institutional Partnerships will lead efforts to secure foundation, corporate, and government funding while building long-term partnerships that advance our mission and expand our impact. This role oversees a portfolio of institutional funders and prospects, leads grant development efforts, and collaborates across the organization to identify and secure new funding opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in institutional fundraising, corporate and foundation relations, nonprofit development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success securing foundation, corporate, and government funding.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-year funding opportunities and institutional donor portfolios.
  • Strong grant writing, proposal development, and stewardship experience.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical abilities.
  • Experience using fundraising databases, CRM systems, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow foundation, corporate, and government revenue.
  • Manage a portfolio of institutional funders and high-potential prospects.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward long-term philanthropic partnerships.
  • Lead the development of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, reports, and other institutional funding communications.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through prospect research and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with program, finance, marketing, and executive leadership teams to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor fundraising performance, pipeline activity, and revenue projections.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop institutional fundraising staff.
