Ontada is responsible for supporting the execution and optimization of Ontada’s strategy in close collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer and in alignment with O&M and S&T’s leadership. The Director will play a highly visible role as part of a growing team, supporting the development and execution of thoughtful strategies to support Ontada’s long term sustainable growth. The Director will partner closely with cross functional stakeholders and business leaders within Ontada and across McKesson and have a relentless focus on outcomes and the creation of value to both Ontada and O&M through the successful execution of strategies. This role will help develop business cases to drive growth; ideate and promote innovative ideas to capture value across the Ontada’s value chain; lead coordination and create governance across both Provider, Tech and Life Sciences at Ontada (Provider, Tech and Life Sciences) with regular touch base meetings with the Chief Growth Officer to ensure knowledge transfer and executive alignment; and support inorganic initiatives (partnerships, M&A) as needed.

Requirements

4-year Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare/business or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, healthcare data, operations, business development, M&A, or partnerships focused roles in the healthcare industry
Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
Understanding of biopharma discovery and clinical through commercialization process, provider workflows, and tech innovation
Experience leading data driven business models
Industry knowledge – healthcare, biopharma, and oncology.
Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
Curious, analytical, and confident, with a natural drive to exceed immediate project requirements.

Responsibilities

Support the development and refinement of Ontada’s strategy and specific, key initiatives and priorities thereof in close collaboration and coordination with Ontada’s Chief Growth Officer, LT, and McKesson’s O&M, CSBD and S&T teams.
Develop communication plan for understanding of Ontada strategy and progress to aligned priorities and goals across Ontada and McKesson
Work closely with VP Strategy and the Chief Growth Officer to develop and inform business cases at Ontada while driving accountability, coordination, and developing KPIs and governance.
Develop business cases for new, innovative concepts, secure funding and ensure delivery at or above all strategic initiative targeted outcomes.
Build and maintain relationships: Leverage McKesson industry and customer networks to build new / deeper relationships.
Partner with O&M Strategy and S&T execution leads to represent Ontada and provide consultative expertise for success.
Support inorganic initiatives (partnerships, M&A) as needed and in close alignment with the VP, Strategy and Chief Growth Officer.
Support Ontada’s entry and growth in multi-specialty strategic planning and execution.
