About The Position

As the Director, Indirect Procurement you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Arxada’s global indirect procurement strategy. Leading a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories (excluding Professional Services and IT), you will drive sourcing excellence, supplier performance, cost optimization, sustainability initiatives, and risk management across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience, 10+ years, in indirect procurement and category management within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver measurable procurement value.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market intelligence, spend data, and business requirements into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills in an international environment.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of developing teams and driving results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies that deliver value, cost savings, and long-term business benefits.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, governance, and ongoing performance management.
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Drive supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives across indirect categories.
  • Identify and implement innovative procurement solutions that improve total cost of ownership, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Lead and develop procurement talent while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
