About The Position

Our Director-in-Training program is a 3-month intensive, hands-on training designed to prepare individuals for a School Director role. Upon successful completion, graduates may be offered a permanent position as a School Director.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in early childhood education or a similar leadership role.
• Certified or licensed as required by your state.
• Strong communication skills with a passion for children, families, and staff.
• Excellent multitasking abilities to manage schedules, tasks, and unexpected situations.
• Flexibility and a hands-on approach, willing to assist wherever needed.

Nice To Haves

• CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in hiring, team-building, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum.
• Lead recruitment, training, and support of staff while ensuring state compliance.
• Supervise and inspire the team, manage staffing schedules, and handle substitutes.
• Build relationships with families and staff.
• Conduct tours for prospective families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and prepared school environment.
• Manage administrative tasks including billing, payroll, and records.
• Assist with various operational tasks as needed, such as cooking, cleaning, and classroom support.
