About The Position

The Director (Secondment), IIS Customer Engagement Platform serves as a key strategic analytics partner to the Vaccines Account Management (Vx AM) team. This role maximizes the performance and effectiveness of the customer-facing organization by leading insights generation, innovative strategy development, and business planning grounded in a deep understanding of Vaccines AM priorities and field execution realities. The Director leads multiple strategic initiatives and priority projects in collaboration with the CEP and Marketing organizations, as well as pan-US functions including Commercial Analytics (GCA), Payer, Medical, Finance, and Digital. The role ensures effective analytical and operational support for the Vx business and facilitates the exchange of critical insights with relevant stakeholders. This secondment offers a high-visibility growth opportunity. Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8 + years of experience.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales/consulting experience, with strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace and healthcare economics.
  • 2+ years of hands-on commercial analytics experience, including background in consulting, business analytics, finance, health economics, or marketing strategy.
  • Excellent analytical skills including strategic thinking, data-driven problem framing, and impact measurement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency leading complex, multi-faceted projects and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter and thought leader who proactively identifies the need for analyses and programs, and marshals resources to address strategic challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to lead change and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong executive presence; ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills including presentations, PowerPoint/written, meeting facilitation, and one-on-one/small group interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree with at least 7 + years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience , OR a MD with 4 + years of experience .
  • Familiarity with Vaccines or Account Management commercial models preferred; ability to quickly develop fluency in VxAM KPIs including coverage, pull-through, and account performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Vaccines AM Analytics & Sales Strategy: Serve as a strategic analytics partner embedded with the Vx Account Management team, developing a strong working knowledge of Vx AM structure, territory dynamics, and go-to-market model.
  • Track, interpret, and communicate core Vaccines AM KPIs including HCP and account coverage, vaccine pull-through rates, and account-level performance trends.
  • Lead scorecard reviews with Sales and Marketing leaders at regular business review discussions to share performance insights and best practices.
  • Partner with PC cross-functional partners and Commercial Analytics (GCA/CMO) colleagues to align on insights, strategies, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in strategy and tactical execution; develop and implement solutions via frequent engagement with field-based colleagues, brand team leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop a PC partnership and PFE collective advantage with learnings to enhance organizational effectiveness aligned to Purpose Blueprint 2.0.
  • Optimize Field Force Deployment: Leverage analytic capabilities to develop optimized field force scenarios for sizing, structure, and targeting within the Vx AM footprint.
  • Partner with the Vx AM Lead to facilitate cross-functional teams in assessing, designing, and implementing deployment solutions aligned to the operating plan and brand strategic priorities.
  • Develop tools and resources for leaders to optimize deployment and account prioritization based on local market dynamics, account vacancies, and portfolio changes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive innovation in the Vx go-to-market model (structure, roles, technology, and/or capabilities).
  • Project Management: Plan, direct, and coordinate new and ongoing projects to ensure on-time completion within budget and successful deployment.
  • Connect granular analytical tasks to longer-term strategic initiatives for greater impact across PC and Vaccines functions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between leadership, vendors, and key stakeholders to accelerate project success.
  • Innovate and bring forward potential solutions to unmet strategic needs across PC functions.
