The IAM Director leads Texas Capital’s identity and access management strategy, governance, and execution across identity lifecycle management, access controls, authentication, access certifications, and audit reporting. The role establishes cross-functional ownership among HR, IT, security, legal/compliance, and business and data owners through an IAM governance committee and RACI model, treating IAM as a shared business control. The Director defines IAM policies and standards and drives automation, repeatable integration patterns, and measurable improvements in least privilege, segregation-of-duties alignment, monitoring, and audit readiness. The position provides IAM architecture direction, oversees IAM and IGA capabilities, and ensures platforms are securely configured and maintained in alignment with policy. It clarifies responsibilities between IT and security and defines success measures for security, employee experience, automation, and audit performance. The position may also be assigned reasonably related additional duties consistent with departmental policy.
