About The Position

The Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) leads the strategic planning, development, and execution of enterprise IAM initiatives to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant user authentication and authorization across the organization. This role oversees the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of IAM technologies and processes, while partnering closely with IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational stakeholders to align identity solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The Director is responsible for managing risks associated with identity and access vulnerabilities, driving continuous improvement of IAM tools and governance practices, and ensuring optimal system performance and user experience. This leader also provides oversight of IAM staff, vendor relationships, and emerging identity management trends to support a secure and scalable access management environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in identity and access management or cybersecurity.
  • Expertise in IAM system architecture, deployment, integration, and operational support.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, security frameworks, and access governance.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and managing vendor partnerships.
  • Experience driving operational improvement and modernization of IAM tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships and support evaluation of emerging IAM technologies and solutions.
  • Mentor and develop IAM staff while fostering innovation and operational excellence.
