About The Position

The Role The HR (Human Resources) Director will deliver HR business partner services and lead compensation, recruitment, diversity, training, and organizational development initiatives in support of the business. In addition, this person will provide coaching and support to mid and senior-level managers to improve their people leadership effectiveness and drive enterprise and BU (Business Units) specific talent programs. Key areas of focus include organizational design, workforce planning, coaching and feedback, performance and change management, managing risk through consistent practices, inclusion, and engagement efforts. This role specifically supports multiple groups and functions in our Client Services organization within the Fidelity Brokerage Organization. The Team The HR Director is a key member of the Client Service HR team that supports the Brokerage Regional Centers, Brokerage Acquisition, Learning, Strategy, Planning and Enablement. The group’s purpose is to develop and execute people practices, programs, and initiatives in support of our clients. We work with leaders to ensure our associates are positioned for success – planning, hiring, training, mentoring, and developing them to meet business goals. We bring data, measures, and analytics to influence decisions and guide prioritization of attention and investment of resources.

Requirements

  • 10 plus years of professional experience
  • HR business partner experience- preferred
  • Actively listens to the needs and concerns of business leaders and functional partners and can develop strategic recommendations/solutions in a sometimes-ambiguous environment.
  • Able to build & navigate across business units and functions
  • The skill to influence others, develop and maintain working relationships, and deliver results and/or expertise in a professional manner.
  • You can work as part of a program team to drive long term strategic outcomes, owning pieces of work and follow-up items throughout
  • You have a proven ability to deliver high quality, fast paced service and strong capability in change management, engagement and communication tools and techniques for impacting the workplace atmosphere
  • You are a proactive problem solver and have demonstrated independence, autonomy and accountability when executing your work
  • You have an analytical mindset, are comfortable with data analysis tools, and possess an ability tell a story using data in consultation with leadership
  • Energized and passionate—can persuasively sell ideas and concepts across an organization
  • Strong intuitive knowledge of the businesses in which we compete, and the current and future talent needs of those businesses
  • Outstanding communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
