About The Position

The Director, HR Business Partner is a senior-level individual contributor who serves as the primary people partner to assigned enterprise business units. This position operates as a highly strategic advisor, system integrator, and transformation partner, shaping how leaders build capability, drive performance, manage talent, and lead change. This role operates as enterprise connector, bringing real-time business intelligence, workforce insights, and leadership challenges forward to deliver business value. This role is eligible for our FLEX persona. Candidates must be able to work on Tuesday and Wednesdays each week in our Boston location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing senior executives and leaders.
  • Strong background in talent, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary people strategy advisor to senior leaders on organizational strategy, leadership capability, performance, culture, and transformation, translating business priorities into integrated people solutions.
  • Act as a core member of the People Strategy, Performance, and Experience function, representing assigned business units by elevating critical insights, sharing best practices, and informing enterprise prioritization.
  • Leads and mentors assigned People Consultant, through a strong matrixed reporting relationship in partnership with the Sr. Senior Director, People Strategy and Transformation, collaborating on priority areas that support the business.
  • Facilitate and lead the execution of enterprise talent systems, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and pay-for-performance processes, while coaching leaders on fair and differentiated talent decisions.
  • Partner with People Analytics to identify engagement trends, retention risks, and performance trends, translating insights into preventive action plans.
  • Partner with leaders to cultivate an inclusive team culture, leveraging data to identify and address systemic barriers and championing I&B initiatives within assigned business units.
