About The Position

The Director of HR Operations leads HR infrastructure, including core processes and systems, while ensuring compliance and optimizing day-to-day operations to deliver positive employee experience. This critical leadership role is responsible for leading and optimizing core HR processes, systems, and data to enable the successful delivery of our people strategies in both the short and long term. This role will drive HR process transformation, oversee HRIS configuration and optimization (Dayforce), and ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery. The position serves as a strategic partner to HR leadership, ensuring operational excellence of key HR systems-enabled processes. Acting as the primary liaison between HR and IT, this position governs the HR portfolio of projects, interfaces with vendors, and provides technical guidance to HR teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or experience equivalent
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in Dayforce HRIS is a must
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and processes, including internal controls, documentation standards, testing cycles, remediation tracking, and audit support is a must
  • Proficiency in HRIS and analytics tools; ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • A curious personality who asks questions that add value to discussions
  • Collaborative team member who builds strong working relationships across the enterprise
  • Broad working knowledge of all aspects of HR functions and business processes
  • Strong business and financial acumen; ability to link business objectives to HR strategies

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute cross-functional HR technology, payroll, compliance, and process transformation initiatives on time and within scope
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; including ability to explain data and insights to key stakeholders in a digestible format
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to manage large workload, quickly understand priorities, and be very responsive to customer needs; capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to streamline and modernize HR processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.
  • Partner with HR leadership to identify process gaps and implement best practices aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Dayforce HRIS platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system functionality meets business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee data integrity, reporting, and analytics to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with Finance and HR teams to resolve payroll issues and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and security across all HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, company policies, and applicable SOX compliance requirements, including process controls, documentation, testing support, and audit readiness.
  • Align HR operations with organizational objectives to deliver a seamless employee experience.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership based on data and process analysis.
  • Support governance of the HR portfolio of projects and enterprise talent analytics, including relevant systems and process controls.
  • Lead and participate in HR technology and process improvement projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Provide direction to technical teams regarding design and development of systems, applications, reports, and analyses to meet business needs.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $130,700 to $196,100 annually
