The Bank of Nova Scotia seeks a Director, HR Change Initiatives, U.S Region in Dallas, TX to lead the U.S. Location Strategy and Transformation. This role involves partnering with the U.S. Executive Committee and global HR to open and staff a new U.S. office in Dallas. The Director will lead a team of Senior Manager, HRBPs, providing strategic direction and leadership, and defining cross-functional and cross-regional talent programs and strategies. The position requires leading the execution of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with U.S. regional growth objectives, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. A key responsibility is developing and implementing a multi-year HR strategy and workforce transformation plan. Collaboration with Talent Acquisition for hiring strategies, and with communications, finance, COO, and global HR for HR-related initiatives is essential. The role also involves overseeing talent-related workstreams, contributing to technical, enablement, and change management efforts, and defining and tracking talent KPIs/OKRs. Additionally, the Director will partner with U.S. Risk to meet regulatory requirements and support the U.S. HR lead on globalization of the HR function, as well as assist the U.S. HR Head with board materials and executive committee deliverables.
