About The Position

Sodexo's growing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking a Healthcare Technology Management Director 1 for the Nemours Children's Hospital located in Wilmington, DE. The HTM Director 1 will manage several types of medical devices, supervise teams of technical professionals, and track performance measures. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished HTM leader! Nemours Children’s is one of the largest integrated pediatric health systems in the country. Everything we do — our medical care, research, education, and prevention and advocacy efforts — is focused on kids. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of management performance within Healthcare Technology and have a broad understanding of the many service aspects that they will encounter and resolve on a daily basis. The Director 1 will partner with regional HTM Leaders to drive operational effectiveness and patient/client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5 years in maintenance and repair of clinical devices
  • Experience managing biomedical and imaging services in a large healthcare system
  • Clear knowledge & understanding regarding regulatory compliance (CIHQ, DNV, JACHO)
  • Solution-oriented approaches, critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate and successfully resolve conflict
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional service and developing unbreakable partnerships with customers, staff, and vendors
  • Superior business acumen, agility, and confidence in making decisions, especially regarding budget management proficiency
  • Experience leading high performing teams including mentoring/development of new and existing talent within organizations
  • Comfortable presence with executive leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years Management Experience
  • 5 years Functional Experience in maintenance and repair of clinical devices

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of all clinical and technical staff to ensure high performance and retention.
  • Lead capital planning, project management, and technology assessments to support operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Manage purchasing, subcontracts, and financial planning to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to optimize supply chain and service delivery.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members to build a skilled workforce and support career growth.
  • Drive organic sales growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and expanding service offerings.
