About The Position

LC State invites applications for the position of Director, Healthcare Education Center. This is a full-time, 12-month professional staff position based on the LC State main campus. The Director oversees operations and staff of the Healthcare Education Center, supporting existing and future expansion of allied health programs as well as nursing and radiographic sciences. The Director of the Healthcare Education Center supports all healthcare education programs through various activities, including advising students, recruiting, developing articulation pathways, managing internal recruitment/advising processes, communications/outreach, and supervision of staff. Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support student recruitment and retention.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and to develop strong partnerships
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize resources, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees operations and staff of the Healthcare Education Center.
  • Supports existing and future expansion of allied health programs as well as nursing and radiographic sciences.
  • Advises Healthcare Education Center students in all programs and provides support for faculty advisors.
  • Recruits, advises, and forms partnership collaborations for all health professions education programs.
  • Develops and maintains articulation pathways and visual advising guides.
  • Develops internal recruitment/advising processes for the Healthcare Education Center (HEC) and disseminates information to campus stakeholders.
  • Manages communications and outreach, including maintaining HEC and NHS websites, assisting in the development of marketing materials, facilitating lab tours, and attending community events to present on HEC programs.
  • Supervises the HEC Program Advisor and Clinical Coordinator/Onboarding Application Specialist.
  • Trains and supervises future additional health hub advising staff/student workers.
  • Collaborates with campus communities.
  • Performs direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.

Benefits

  • Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $60,000 - $63,000
