About The Position

The Director of Growth Insights & Portfolio Economics leads Levanto’s market, financial, and portfolio analysis to inform growth decisions, investment prioritization, and scalable execution. This role sits at the intersection of market intelligence, pricing and unit economics, and portfolio decision‑making—ensuring leadership has clear, data‑backed recommendations on where to invest, how to grow, and what returns to expect. This leader translates complex market, financial, and operational data into actionable insights that shape product prioritization, pricing models, business cases, and cross‑functional initiatives. This role is not a pure corporate FP&A function; it is embedded in the product/platform organization and focused on growth and portfolio decisions rather than budgets and close.

Requirements

  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Proven ability to translate market and financial analysis into executive-level recommendations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Finance, GTM, and Operations teams.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to simplify complexity and drive alignment.
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or B2B platform businesses.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategy, value-based economics, and multi-product portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market intelligence efforts including TAM/SAM sizing, whitespace analysis, competitive benchmarking, and buyer economics.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative market inputs (customers, employers, partners, brokers) into clear growth hypotheses and opportunity assessments.
  • Partner with Product and GTM teams to inform new market entry, expansion opportunities, and product positioning.
  • Own economic frameworks used to evaluate portfolio investments, including unit economics, contribution margin, ROI, and payback analyses.
  • Build and maintain standardized business cases for new products, enhancements, and major initiatives.
  • Support portfolio prioritization decisions by assessing trade‑offs across growth potential, capital requirements, operational complexity, and financial return.
  • Partner with Finance to align assumptions, models, and measurement of realized value.
  • Lead pricing and packaging analysis in collaboration with Product, Finance, and GTM.
  • Evaluate pricing scenarios, discount structures, and commercial trade‑offs to support sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop consistent value propositions and infuse them into all sales and client deliverables.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for executive and board‑level discussions.
  • Support leadership planning cycles with forward‑looking insights on growth performance, portfolio risk, and investment implications.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on growth trade‑offs and scale decisions.
  • Lead or support special, cross‑functional initiatives that require deep analytical rigor and economic validation.
  • Establish repeatable tools, templates, and processes that raise the bar for decision‑making across the organization.
  • Mentor and develop analysts or managers supporting growth insights and portfolio economics (if applicable).
