Director Gross Margin Program Management

Marvell Technology•Santa Clara, CA
•$175,860 - $263,500

About The Position

Marvell’s Supply Chain Planning Organization is hiring a Director to lead efforts that identify and implement improvements to sourcing methods, sourcing costs, product yields, and gross margins across its semiconductor portfolio. The role requires strong technical and analytical capabilities and knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, process and packaging technology, sourcing, yields, and cost structures. The Director will lead or actively participate in cross-functional task forces and company-wide initiatives, working with teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Operations Engineering, Foundry Engineering, Product and Test Engineering, Business Units, and Central Engineering. The role will assess product- and technology-specific foundry and OSAT sourcing costs, product yields, and industry benchmarks, then develop and drive roadmaps that balance trade-offs, reduce costs, and improve gross margins. This is a high-visibility position with exposure to senior leadership. The successful candidate will help identify systemic improvements to operations and sourcing, develop and manage business process changes, contribute to product cost modeling and targets from early development, and assess the financial health of products throughout their lifecycle. They will communicate cost status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and help ensure that effective cost-management practices are shared and implemented across teams.
