This position plays a critical role in the development and execution of BMS' WW & US medical strategy for a next-generation cardiac myosin inhibitor within the cardiovascular portfolio. The Medical Medical Product Lead (MPL) is a strategic leader with broad responsibilities across the Medical organization and a key leader of the cross-functional matrix, providing medical insights and interpretation of the evolving heart failure (HF) and cardiomyopathy landscape and translating emerging clinical and scientific data across the organization. The MPL has overall accountability to develop aligned medical strategies and execute core medical deliverables, including Integrated Evidence Plans, Scientific Narratives, and External Engagement and Advocacy plans as the lead of the cross-functional Asset/Indication Medical Strategy (AIMS) team. The Director, MPL will provide strategic oversight for a new asset in heart failure and cardiomyopathy, initially focused on heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and future life cycle management opportunities. This leader will direct and navigate complex issues across a broad cross-functional matrix to ensure optimal medical affairs strategy is developed and executed, including clear differentiation, evidence strategies that address monitoring burden and safety margin, and internal positioning across the broader myosin inhibitor franchise. This medical leader will report to the VP, Head of Cardiovascular Medical Affairs and work closely with CV global program leads in Clinical Development.
