About The Position

The Director, Global Enterprise Applications will provide dedicated leadership over a growing and increasingly strategic enterprise application portfolio. As the organization continues to modernize and simplify its technology footprint, this role will ensure enterprise applications are reliable, secure, enabled, performant, innovative, and positioned to enable global operations and organizational impact.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing enterprise applications and leading enterprise applications teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute an enterprise application strategy and portfolio roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities, business needs, and long-term technology goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead governance and lifecycle management of an enterprise application portfolio, including standards for ownership, documentation, prioritization, implementation, enhancement, integration, and retirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee enterprise application operations across ERP/FMS, CRM, HCM, and integrated platforms, including support, performance, availability, reliability, KPI reporting, SLA management, and service delivery practices that ensure systems effectively enable organizational operations and priorities.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor direct reports, delegate effectively, build accountability, prioritize work against organizational goals, and lead through ambiguity, conflict, and changing priorities with sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and context, actively listen, synthesize diverse perspectives, influence recommendations, and create alignment among business, IT, vendor, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage external vendor relationships with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Ability to lead organizational change efforts tied to system rationalization, migration, and retirement, driving user adoption and minimizing business disruption.
  • Experience working for or with complex, geographically dispersed organizations, with the ability to adapt information to the local context.
  • Ability to work independently; ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise application strategy and portfolio roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities, business needs, and long-term technology goals.
  • Lead governance and lifecycle management of the enterprise application portfolio, including standards for ownership, documentation, prioritization, implementation, enhancement, integration, and retirement.
  • Oversee the operational management, support, performance, availability, and reliability of enterprise applications to ensure systems effectively support organizational operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Global Enterprise Applications team, setting clear expectations, delegating effectively, supporting growth, and fostering accountability for results.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs, align priorities, manage trade-offs, and deliver application capabilities that create measurable business value.
  • Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships to improve accountability, service quality, delivery execution, and return on technology investments.
  • Drive application modernization, rationalization, risk reduction, and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring enterprise applications meet security, privacy, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Lead change management efforts tied to system rationalization, migration, and retirement, driving user adoption and minimizing business disruption.
