This role has the potential to help set the future vision for Pfizer’s Oncology portfolio and to help make a significant difference in patients’ lives. The Director, Global Commercial Strategy – Oncology is responsible for working with research, development, marketing and the cross-functional team to drive commercial decision-making for the early-stage, late-stage and business development opportunities in the Oncology pipeline. This role will be responsible for long term vision, commercial assessment, and investment case development for a range of early / late-stage assets, life cycle options and technology platforms. In addition, the role will also be responsible for leading / supporting key strategic initiatives portfolio-wide. The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions for Pfizer’s oncology portfolio. This position will be a key interface to Global Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, PDA, GAV, BD, and all partner functions to facilitate execution of asset plans and support asset progression through governance stage-gates and endorsements by OSGT and enterprise governance bodies. He / She will play an important influential leadership role to foster a strong, collaborative partnership culture.
