About The Position

The Director, Global HR CoE Operations leads the global HR Operations Center of Excellence, overseeing the strategy, governance, and execution of core HR operational and total rewards functions. This role is responsible for compensation, benefits, leave administration, payroll, HR operations with HRMS oversight, HR data analytics, audit readiness, and total rewards compliance. The Director manages the design, development, and operational delivery of compensation and benefits programs while ensuring equity, regulatory compliance, and market competitiveness. This role also provides strategic planning, analysis, and execution to ensure that total rewards and HR operations strategies align with business objectives and support the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, payroll, benefits, compensation operations, or total rewards.
  • Experience leading multi disciplinary HR functions in a global environment.
  • Strong background in payroll compliance, benefits administration, compensation processes, and HR operational governance.
  • Demonstrated experience with audit readiness, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and reporting experience.
  • Expertise in HRIS, payroll systems, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with leaders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and process discipline.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (SPHR, SHRM – SCP, CCP, CBP, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in a BPO environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic direction for compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, job architecture, annual merit cycles, bonus programs, long‑term incentives, and global benefits.
  • Oversee global compensation operations, ensuring competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive positioning while managing compensation budgets.
  • Maintain and evolve job evaluation processes and ensure consistent application of FLSA duties tests and global classification standards.
  • Develop and maintain global total rewards policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead communication strategies to educate employees and leaders on total rewards programs.
  • Provide executive oversight of global payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple countries.
  • Lead the design, administration, and compliance of global benefits programs including health, wellness, retirement, 401(k), and leave programs.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FLSA, tax regulations, and country‑specific statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll and benefits processes, systems, and vendor management.
  • Oversee HR operations including employee data management, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and HR service delivery processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, process consistency, and strong operational controls across all HR functions.
  • Develop and maintain HR operational policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
  • Partner with HR teams to ensure seamless execution of HR programs and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Oversee global HR reporting and analytics, ensuring delivery of accurate dashboards, workforce metrics, client‑required reporting, and organizational insights.
  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards and HR operations programs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead internal and client survey processes, ensuring high‑quality data collection and reporting.
  • Provide strategic oversight of HRIS governance, ensuring systems support operational needs and data integrity.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT teams on system enhancements, integrations, and data quality initiatives.
  • Ensure HRIS capabilities align with global HR operations and reporting requirements.
  • Own HR audit readiness across payroll, benefits, compensation, and total rewards.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, internal audit requirements, and external regulatory standards.
  • Maintain strong process controls, documentation, and risk‑mitigation practices across all HR operational functions.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and security of all compensation, payroll, and employee data.
  • Manage and maximize relationships with global vendors, consultants, brokers, and technology partners.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of HR operations and total rewards programs.
