About The Position

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Director, FP&A position located in Provo, Utah - in office . The individual we are looking for is someone who enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

Requirements

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.
  • Must be able to speak, write, and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with others.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced analytical abilities with a high standard for accuracy, and excellent research skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including accounting and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong user of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, power user, Lookup Functions, Arrays, Data Tables).
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (Compile presentations for Board/Executives).
  • Microsoft Word (Review/edit contracts.)
  • Adaptive experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and report on the financial performance of the business, including management, private equity shareholders, and creditors.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for all stakeholders (Senior Executive, Board of Directors, External Financial Institutions).
  • Support all accounting activities by developing, designing, and monitoring revenue and expense allocations and periodic variances.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting with conclusions, recommendations, and next steps.
  • First line of review for new contracts/projects before executive approval.
  • Responsible for the development of financial models to drive insight and ROI analysis on new projects.
  • Owner and developer of M&A financial modeling to evaluate acquisition opportunities.
  • Work with department leaders to deliver goals and optimize spending.
  • Support other forms of reporting across the business, including sales, compliance and legal.
  • Leads yearly planning and monthly forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals, including ability to forecast income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.
