About The Position

The Director, FP&A will work directly with the Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer to set strategy for the entire department. This role involves collaborating with senior management to develop, interpret, and perform financial modeling analysis on new initiatives, projects, and business opportunities. The position is responsible for developing reporting and forecasting models that fully integrate all key business components, and driving automation of financial reporting and forecasting processes to support a broader depth and range of analytical and business support capability. The Director will develop and implement strategies to continuously improve Business Unit and Corporate FP&A processes and enhance the understanding of business drivers, providing strategic financial leadership on operational performance and processes. This role owns all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, including monthly actuals, quarterly rolling forecasts, and annual operating plans. The Director will manage and optimize a team of finance professionals to deliver all financial reporting and forecasting products within prescribed quality and timelines. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing the FP&A Monthly Package, SIOP Forecast Process, and Board Presentations. Participation in the due diligence of target acquisitions and in managing post-acquisition integration is also required, along with establishing methodologies for planning, forecasting, and analyzing results in new acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance or Management with concentration in Business Administration/Finance.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Analyst managing financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience managing operational forecasts.
  • Experience providing recommendations to senior management.
  • Experience building supply chain sales and operations planning models for offshore materials.
  • Experience as the financial leader for the integration of an acquisition.
