About The Position

The Director for Enterprise Application Development and Implementation is a senior management level position responsible for the end-to-end delivery, stability, and strategic evolution of enterprise ERP platforms, including Oracle Financials, Aravo, GEP, Concur, and SAP Fieldglass. This role operates at the intersection of technology, finance, procurement, risk, and operations, ensuring platforms are scalable, compliant, and aligned to enterprise transformation objectives. The role provides senior leadership across global delivery teams, owns platform roadmaps, and partners with business and executive stakeholders to modernize financial and supplier ecosystems while managing cost, risk, and regulatory obligations. This position also involves significant contribution to engineering and research initiatives within the Generative AI domain, driving enterprise-wide adoption and integration of these solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions in ERP platforms
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive learning mindset, continuously acquiring new skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Adaptable and resourceful in navigating complex technical and organizational challenges
  • Experience with build and deployment (CI/CD) tools
  • Fluency in at least two programming languages, with a strong preference for Python and Java
  • Strong understanding of Language Models (LLMs), transformers, agentic frameworks, vector stores, and search algorithms
  • Familiarity with one of the major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience working on SaaS vendor platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with Agile delivery, product management, and value stream methodologies
  • Proven track record in producing high-quality project artifacts and senior management reports within technology or risk & controls domains
  • Hands on exp implementing Oracle Financials applications is mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and lead product working groups, driving consensus on requirements and facilitating the development and implementation of processes, data, and system designs
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills and effectively navigate complex organizational structures
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for enterprise platforms including ERP platforms, aligning with enterprise architecture and business transformation goals
  • Drive platform modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and data enablement across Finance, Procurement, Payables, Third-Party Risk, and Contingent Workforce domains
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to senior business and Operations leaders
  • Ensure solutions support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements (SOX, financial controls, vendor risk, data privacy)
  • Contribute significantly to both engineering and research initiatives within the Generative AI domain
  • Adopt a product-focused approach, ensuring the development of robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment by continuously testing, learning, and tackling cutting-edge problems
  • Drive the enterprise-wide adoption and successful integration of Generative AI solutions
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating sound ethical judgment and particular consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients and assets
  • Prioritize rapid delivery and iterative development, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to pivot rather than pursuing a perfect upfront solution
  • Provide end-to-end accountability for program delivery across the platforms, from intake through deployment and post-production stabilization
  • Lead large-scale global implementations, upgrades, and integrations, managing complex dependencies across upstream and downstream systems
  • Establish and enforce delivery governance, release management, and quality standards across Agile and hybrid delivery models
  • Proactively manage delivery risk, financial exposure, and operational resilience
  • Serve as executive platform owner, accountable for availability, performance, security, and user experience
  • Drive standardization and reuse across platforms to reduce technical debt and operational cost
  • Own budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization
  • Lead vendor and system integrator management, including contract negotiations, performance management, and value realization
  • Ensure commercial and delivery models support long-term sustainability and scalability
  • Partner with Business Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology leadership to align platform capabilities with business priorities
  • Translate complex technology topics into clear executive-level insights to support decision-making
  • Represent Technology in steering committees, audit forums, and regulatory discussions
  • Lead and develop senior technology managers, architects, and delivery leads across global locations
  • Build high-performing teams with strong succession planning, talent development, and diversity of thought
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
