About The Position

The Director of Sales for FNTS (First National Technology Solutions) will lead and manage the sales efforts, including overseeing a team of Sales Executives. This leadership role is essential for driving strategic growth, developing new business opportunities to achieve company revenue targets. Sales Leadership: Oversee and manage the Sales Executives, guiding their efforts to generate new leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase FNTS’s market share, customer base, and overall revenue. Identify new market opportunities, key industry trends, and potential partnerships to expand FNTS’s footprint. Participate with strategic partners providing referral and co-sell opportunities. Develop the sales territory coverage model to produce expected sales results. Participate in sales opportunities to assist the sales executive qualify and advance the sales opportunity to closure. Assist with the sales executive with contract negotiations. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, service delivery and client experience teams to align business development efforts with broader company goals. Coordinate with finance and service delivery teams to ensure that sales targets and revenue projections are realistic and achievable. Serve as a key liaison between the business development team and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on goals and initiatives. Team Development and Mentorship: Mentor and develop the Sales Executives, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support to ensure they meet performance goals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to pursue professional development opportunities and improve their skills. Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent in business development and sales operations. Reporting and Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs for the sales teams to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports for senior management that provide insights into sales pipeline progress, revenue forecasts, and key business development initiatives. Use data to inform decision-making and adjust strategies as needed to meet company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8-10+ years of experience in sales, business development or sales management within the technology sector.
  • At least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing business development or sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of technology solutions, mainframe, IBM Power, cloud services, or IT infrastructure is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Data-driven decision-making and the ability to analyze and interpret sales data and metrics.
  • Unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
