About The Position

The Director of Fidelity Digital Assets® Finance Regulatory Governance, Controls & Programs leads Finance’s regulatory readiness, governance model, and control environment across U.S. operations. This role ensures regulatory expectations are translated into scalable frameworks, defensible controls, and consistent processes, supporting oversight, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Fidelity Digital Assets® operates as a global digital asset platform in an evolving industry. The Director of Fidelity Digital Assets® Finance Regulatory Governance, Controls & Programs ensures financial strength, regulatory readiness, and strategic clarity as the firm scales and expands globally.

Requirements

  • Strong regulatory governance, OCC exam exposure, control frameworks, leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in regulated businesses.
  • Experience in digital assets, capital markets, or financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and scale the Fidelity Digital Assets® Regulatory Controls and Governance organization; oversee hiring, performance management, and talent development.
  • Lead Finance coordination for regulatory examinations.
  • Own exam readiness processes including workplans and deliverables.
  • Own Regulation W governance and oversight program.
  • Own ongoing regulatory reporting routines and creation of new requirements.
  • Design and implement regulatory controls and frameworks; Strengthen governance routines.
  • Develop leadership reporting and KRIs.
  • Lead and mentor team; Drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee creation of wind-down plans for new products as well as oversight of existing procedures.
  • Requires independent decision-making in a complex regulatory environment, translating evolving requirements into actionable frameworks while influencing senior stakeholders.
