Director of Finance- Enterprise Financial Planning & Strategy Position Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Director of Finance serves as a key strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), providing enterprise finance leadership to the Global Finance Services Organization. This role integrates cross-functional insights and aligns priorities across the organization. The Director delivers forward-looking analysis to inform executive decision-making, drive business performance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results. Determines and finalizes modeling and forecasting techniques to apply in complex situations. Provides leadership in selecting and implementing forecasting strategies and practices. Consults on the effective use of quality forecasting models to achieve positive outcomes of business decisions. Coaches others on sound theoretical knowledge of financial and modeling techniques.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Stakeholder Management: Expert level ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and engaging with them to achieve objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Strong background in financial accounting, reporting and analysis, and forecast development.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific action.
  • Strong business partner with the ability to build relationships and partner across functions to help drive the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership to the CFO including but not limited to: Producing thorough, accurate and timely budget and expense management reporting for the organization.
  • Supporting budgeting processes including analysis and review of financial information and its impact on the business.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial information for planning and control purposes.
  • Creating and leading a strong controls and compliance environment.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align priorities and drive profitable growth
  • Support key executive forums (e.g., Tariff Obeya, Controllers Council) and develop executive-level materials, including board presentations and insights
  • Deliver actionable financial analysis to support analyst calls, executive decision-making, and ad hoc business needs
  • Coordinate elements of external reporting (e.g., SEC) and align inputs across enterprise stakeholders
  • Oversee consulting approvals and contract governance for enterprise initiatives
  • Build strong partnerships across Corporate Accounting and business segments to drive alignment and outcomes
  • Champion finance transformation and continuous improvement across the enterprise
