  • Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary complexity and redundancy while preserving required business, regulatory, tax, and operational capabilities.
  • Develop value-focused business cases that consider process simplification, control improvements, reporting efficiency, system reduction, operating agility, and sustainable cost benefits.
  • Define the technology and data changes required to support approved entity consolidations, reorganizations, or operating-model changes.
  • Ensure that the initiative is positioned and governed as a value-creation program, not solely as a cost-reduction exercise.
  • Ensure Finance applications and services comply with SOX, audit, security, privacy, records-retention, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Internal Audit, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Finance control owners.
  • Establish appropriate access, segregation-of-duties, change-management, and operational controls.
