Reporting to the VP, Finance Business Partner, this high-impact leader will serve as a strategic finance partner to Technology leadership, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial performance, investment analysis, complex agreements, and business-case development. The role will also leverage Technology Business Management (TBM) principles, drive process improvements, manage risk, and partner with global cross-functional teams to optimize technology investments and business performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong Finance Business Partner experience within a Technology organization, advanced financial planning and analytical skills, executive-level communication abilities, and experience leading and developing finance teams. Advanced Excel, Oracle, and Hyperion skills are preferred, with Apptio and Agile IT experience a plus. Compensation for O'Fallon, Missouri is $150,000–$160,000 USD, plus potential bonus and comprehensive benefits. Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Director, Finance Business Partner – Technology Infrastructure to serve as a strategic finance partner to senior technology leadership. This is a highly visible, hands-on finance leadership position supporting a large and complex technology organization. The Director will provide financial leadership across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, strategic investments, portfolio management, business cases, contract and deal evaluation, financial performance, and process improvement. The successful candidate must bring a strong background in technology finance, significant hands-on FP&A experience, and experience owning or supporting a large financial portfolio. This is not a role for someone who has moved completely away from the details of FP&A. The Director must be comfortable operating strategically with executives while remaining hands-on with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business-partnering activities. The role reports to the VP, Finance Business Partner and also includes responsibility for managing and developing finance professionals.
