Serve as the senior officer for Foundation financial and administrative services management. Responsible for the overall management of the financial aspects of the Foundations ensuring compliance with federal, state and generally accepted nonprofit accounting standards. This includes financial reporting on a timely basis, cash management, investment management, budget preparation, contract review and approval. Staff the SHF and CHF Finance Committees and preparation of reports for the Boards of Directors. Provide oversight of the Foundations balance sheet totaling $300 million in assets, more than 300 funds and 70 endowments. Position works closely with the Sharp Foundation accountant and other key individuals in the Sharp Finance Department including in preparation of the Foundation 990s and audits. Responsible for the overall management of the operations and administrative aspects of the Foundations. This includes operations team and gift processing, planned giving compliance, reporting and analysis, government grant oversight, and general office administration (facilities, personnel, Workday, SharePoint, cybersecurity). While the Director is organized under SHF, the position oversees the financials of CHF through the Management Services Agreement, and serves as the system director of finance covering all four Sharp Foundations (SHF, CHF, GHF, TCHF).
