About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a(n) Director, Film & Business Supply Chain Operations, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading two interconnected portfolios: the end-to-end supply chain for the global Film business and the global Business Supply Chain (BSC) Operations capability center — owning Film supply chain strategy, architecture, and performance while building and governing the operational infrastructure that enables consistent, measurable BSC performance across the enterprise. You will also be responsible for designing and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between BSC and internal stakeholders, developing and codifying standard work for BSC processes, and operationalizing those standards across all portfolios and geographies — driving maturity from initial adoption to sustained, high-performing execution. Additionally, you will lead the design and optimization of global Film supply chain networks across source, make, move, and deliver — including network configuration, make-versus-buy strategies, sourcing models, capacity allocation, and inventory positioning to improve service, quality, cost, and cash outcomes. You will set strategic direction across multiple cross-functional and cross-divisional work groups spanning planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, quality, engineering, and BSC operations — coordinating efforts to achieve business goals with minimal direction, advising executive management on supply chain opportunities and capability investment priorities. Finally, you will drive supply chain readiness for new product introduction, portfolio changes, and strategic growth initiatives within Film, while establishing governance mechanisms for SLA performance, standard work adherence, and maturity progression across the broader BSC organization.
